In looking through some photography magazines for ways to improve my photography, I came across an article in which the author suggested walking around your hometown for some amount of time one day each week taking photographs of whatever you come across.
I thought this would be a good idea since the location is close, and the Bristol area has some great photographic opportunities. The problem was how to motivate myself to do this diligently for 52 weeks. I thought if I could have some fun with it maybe the going would be a little easier. I have read plenty of people's blogs and thought maybe if I shared this adventure, my friends and family would keep me accountable.
So here I am.
In an effort to keep things interesting, because Mark Twain I ain't, I am going to attempt to post part of a picture from my trek each week and let readers attempt to guess the location of the photograph. I will reveal the whole photo in the next weeks blog.
This could be fun and interesting.........or a total flop. Either way the whole idea is to work on improving my photography and perhaps I will learn some things about my hometown as well.
I would ask that you be tolerant of my lack of computer and literary skills, and kind in your assessment of my photography.
